Artist's Comments

This is pretty much finished. I stopped for a while before I destroyed it by painting too much. It needs something; i'm not sure what. What do you think?

not sure what it could need, but it still looks quite lovely, such nice soft colors.

I wouldn't change a thing. The colors and shadow work on the figure is so in depth. I can feel the cold damp environment. Like a forgotten room in an old building on the shady part of town. Broken bottles and rusted needles, mildewed clothes and a bloody matress. The piece has a creepy feel because it comes off, to me, like a place a child should not be. I love it. Your paiting skills are so far beyond mine. I hope you drink your paint water and throw up. j

Love it. The only thing you might want to add...but don't have to by any means, is a little distressing or maybe burning look around the edges where the grey and blue background meet? But you don't have to. It looks absolutely amazing as is.

That's what everyone seems to be saying, I guess. Could it be that I'm wrong?

...no. No, of course not. It's everyone else who's mistaken.
